Dolphin reach Southern Junior League Final

Swindon Dolphin
youngsters booked their place in the grand final of the Southern Junior League in
June after an impressive performance in round 2 of the competition at Horfield Leisure
Centre last Saturday night.  Without 2
key swimmers and a few competing somewhat under the weather, Dolphin finished second
behind favourites Ferndown and were only outside the top 3 in 4 of the 49 events in
a very exciting gala.



 

Noah
Kirby, Liam Jefferies, Alex Chantler-Mayne
& Adam
Coleman
were unbeatable in the boys’ 9 yrs 4 X 25m frs & IM relays
as were Sam Lofts, James Clark, Mat Sambrook & Liam
Tubb
in the boys’ 12 yrs 4 X 25m IM relay.  Dolphins
had to settle for second in 12 other relays.



 

Samantha
Berry
won the girls’ 11 yrs 50m Fly & frs and James
Clark
was victorious in the boys’ 12 yrs 50m brs & fly.  Alex
Chantler-Mayne
(9 yr, 25m frs), Noah Kirby (9
yr, 25m brs), Maddie Easter (9 yr, 25m
fly), Sam Lofts (12 yr, 50m bk) & Liam
Tubbs
(12 yr, 50m frs) were also individual winners.

yr, 50m bk) and Katie Carter (12, yr 50m
brs) also touched second.
