Dolphin Success Continues on Days Three and Four of European Masters

Dolphin had another outstanding couple of days in the pool claiming five further European
Masters titles on the third and fourth days of the European Masters Championships
2007 in Kranj, bringing the total of gold medal so far to ten.



 

On
Thursday
Jon
Audis
captured his first title of the championship
by winning the 50m backstroke in the 25-29 age group in 27.97.



 

There
was a third gold medal and second European Masters record for
Chris
Jones
(25-29 year age group) in the 100m breaststroke.  He
recorded a time of 1.02 65 on his way to victory.



 

Nigel
Masters
(35-39
years) and
Steve
Cryer
(40-44 years) both
finished creditable fifths in the 100m breaststroke.

eighth and
Jon
Audis
was sixth in the 100m butterfly.



 

Today Jon
Audis
added the 200m backstroke title to his 50m success
yesterday.  He touched first in a time
of 2.14.57.

in the day

secured his third title winning the 100m freestyle
in a club record time of 52.85. 
Chris
Jones
notched up his fourth title winning the same
event in his age group in a time of 53.07.
