Record Medal Haul for Dolphin at European Masters

Event: European Masters Championships 2007 (50m)

Swindon Dolphin signed off the European Masters Championships 2007 in Kranj, with thirteen gold, a silver & three bronze medals, and two European Masters records.

Masterful !

The final day saw Chris Jones win the 200m breaststroke in the 25-30 year age group to bring his total of individual gold medals to five.  Nigel Masters (35-39 years) and Steve Cryer (40-44 years) took bronze medals in the same event.

 

Jon Audis captured his third individual title of the championship by winning the 100m backstroke in the 25-29 age group in 1.00.28.

Andi Manley took bronze in the 50m freestyle in his age group.
 

Dolphin rounded off a successful championship in style by retaining their 2005 European 4 X 50m medley relay title with Audis (bk), Jones (brs), Cryer (fly) and Manley (free) taking gold in a time of 1.47.62 in the 120-159 year group.
