Meanwhile
at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre in

Salisbury

, seventeen swimmers from the original team sheet were unavailable for the A
team
due to their participation at the Bath Open Meet or other commitments.  Nevertheless,
the small squad gave a good account of themselves, swimming more than their usual
quota of events with many youngsters taking the opportunity to test themselves against
considerably older opponents.  Dolphin

A in a very friendly and exciting gala.

Special
praise goes to Swim Channel’s
Lydia
Harper

up at the eleventh hour to take part in her first team competition.
