Sophie Brooker (11 Yrs) & Lucy Purnell (10 Yrs)
Swim Channel’s ‘Swimmers of the Month’ for December 2007 are Sophie Brooker (Teaching category) and Lucy Purnell (Coaching category).
According to Dolphin Swimming Development Officer, Steve Cryer, ‘Sophie is a very strong swimmer with some excellent skills and she has worked very hard to earn the award.’ He explained that ‘Lucy has made fantastic progress and has recently moved into the Pre-development squad. She attended most of the Christmas training camp sessions which has given her a clear advantage within the programme’.
