Event: Wiltshire County Championships Distance Freestyle

The Wiltshire County Championships distance freestyle events concluded on Sunday with the boys’ 800m and girls’ 1500m.
Coming up trumps with age group gold medals for Swindon Dolphin were Alex Chantler-Mayne, Andy Evans and Charlotte Pitts, who also recorded a new 13 years age group best time. Silver medals went to Samuel Woolford, Andrew Butler, Victoria Tainty and Victoria Jennings.
The overall Junior and Senior Championships were won by Henry Ash of Bradford-on-Avon and Emma Hill of Trowbridge. Dolphins finishing in the top six were Woolford (Junior 4th), Evans (Senior 6th), Pitts (Junior 2nd and Senior 3rd) and Jennings (Junior 3rd and Senior 4th).

The county championships continue with the main block of youth short course sprint and middle distance over the weekend of 27th and 28th February.
