Event: Sainsburys UK School Games

Following an impressive performance at the National Youth Championships, Liam Herbert was selected to represent England South at the Sainsburys UK School Games, a multi-sport event for the UK’s elite young athletes of school age.
This year’s programme featured 10 events over four days of competition, with the swimming taking place at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre. Herbert was in action in both the 100m and 200m backstroke and put in some good early season performances to help his team finish an overall third behind top placed England Central and runners up England North.
