Event: Swindon Dolphin Club Championships and Age Groups Licenced Level 4 Meet

This year’s Swindon Dolphin Club Championships saw three club records, 12 championship best times (CBT) and 25 age group best times (AGBT) broken, underlining the Club’s continuing improvement in standards.
Elizabeth Beckett dominated the female events, with 11 championship titles from her 11 events entered and setting 8 new CBTs. A superb 5:03.37 swim in the 400m individual medley also set a new club record.
Top male record breaker was James Clark, setting new club records in both the 800m and 1500m freestyle, setting a new CBT in the 400m freestyle, and taking 4 championship titles. Jon Audis also set a new CBT in the 400m individual medley as well as taking 5 championship titles.
In the junior championships, James Clark and Charlotte Pitts were top with six and five titles respectively.
Other top age group medallists were Lauren Matthews (9 gold), Liam Herbert (8 gold), Georgia Dicks (6 gold), Georgia Pitts (6 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze) and James Watson (6 gold).
