Event: Tigersharks Level 3 Open Meet

A squad of 48 Dolphin swimmers were at the Link last weekend at the Tighersharks level 3 open meet, all looking to achieve either county or regional qualifying times.
Nine year olds Calum Marriott and Jack Wilkes both achieved multiple county QTs and should be looking forward to a successful championships in March. Also making the county grade for the first time ever were Sam Elliott, Annie Ward and Anna Tylutka. The vast majority of swimmers achieved personal bests with many adding new or improving existing county qualifying times.
In her first year of regional competition, Denice Gardo improved on her 200m freestyle and 200m butterfly qualifying times achieved two months earlier at Gloucester. A further nine Dolphins also achieve regional QTs bringing the total number of regional qualifiers so far this season to 32.
